Planting Bar

A planting bar, also known as a dibble bar, is a long, narrow tool used for planting seedlings, bulbs, or small plants in a prepared hole. It is commonly used in forestry and landscaping to quickly create planting holes in the soil, particularly in reforestation projects or when planting in difficult terrain. The bar is driven into the ground to create a narrow hole, which is then widened by rocking the bar back and forth. A seedling or plant is placed in the hole, and the soil is tamped down with the bar. The planting bar is essential for efficient planting, especially in large-scale projects, ensuring that seedlings are properly positioned and have the best chance of survival.
