Stone Dust

Stone dust, also known as rock dust or crusher run, is a byproduct of crushing stone, used as a base layer for paving projects like patios, pathways, and driveways. It is a fine, powdery material that compacts well, providing a stable foundation that prevents settling and shifting of pavers. Stone dust is also used to fill gaps between pavers, helping to lock them in place and prevent weeds from growing. While stone dust is affordable and easy to work with, it should be used carefully, as it can retain moisture and become compacted, leading to drainage issues if not properly managed.
